About UsJames Starr earned his masters degree in metalsmithing from the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
His pieces can be found from the Saarinen house at Cranbrook to homes in New York, California, Chicago, Florida, and throughout the Midwest. James lost his life suddenly and unexpectedly on December 23, 2018. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His portfolio of heirlooms will be handed down through the generations along with the story of their maker. His reputation lives on as the man who could make anything... make it into reality... as designed... or per his design... and make it to the highest level possible. |
Drew Starr is no stranger to the creative arts. He has a Bachelor of Arts
degree from Oakland University in Theater Performance, as well as 20 years experience working full time alongside his father and mentor. Apprenticed in a vast array of metal arts, he is always seeking the highest level in his craft. "I want to make beautiful things that will both add to, and work with the beauty of their surroundings" Drew has joined with Voguefurniture.com to create a new era of metal arts for the established fine furnishings of Greg Bartelt’s custom interiors workshop. |
